Rare Quality Antique Sterling Silver Stationary Box Hallmarked London 1909 by Mappin and Webb. We believe this was originally used to store pen and pencil supplies, but I could be wrong. Of course this can be used for anything, for example a trinket box. Good condition for age, some dents, tarnish, light scratches and age related marks. There are scratches to the base where it makes contact with the table. The hallmarks on the lid are rubbed but readable. The original gilt inside is still present, although worn where the feet of the removable tray sit.Measuring approximately 9.6cm x 6.4cm 2.7cm.
Weighing approximately 189 grams total.
